Compare My Care shows the CQC rating of every care home in England side by side, so you can see how a home compares with others nearby.

Who built it, and why

I'm Richard Chater, a doctor working in the UK. I built Compare My Care to help people make the best-informed decisions they can about care, for themselves or for someone close to them. CQC's data is public, but it isn't easy to compare. This site puts it in one place.

The site shows CQC's ratings. It doesn't give medical or care advice. For advice about someone's care, speak to their GP, social worker or the council's adult social care team.

How it's run

Everything comes from CQC's open data, updated monthly. There are no paid listings, and providers can't pay to change how they appear. Neither I nor Flouri App Limited has any financial link with any care provider, care group or placement agency. How we rank explains how homes are grouped and ordered.
