Privacy
You don't need an account to use Compare My Care, and we don't collect your name or contact details.
Cookies
When you first visit, a banner asks whether you'll accept analytics cookies. Nothing but the cookies needed to run the site is set until you choose. You can change your answer at any time. Change your cookie settings.
The banner is run by Cloudflare Zaraz, which also loads Google Analytics for us if you accept.
What we use
- Google Analytics. Counts visits and shows which pages people use. It only runs if you accept analytics cookies. If you don't, nothing is sent to Google.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics. Counts visits without cookies and without tracking you between sites.
- Hosting. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which keeps standard server logs.
- Your compare list. Homes you add to compare are saved in your own browser and never sent to us.
- Postcode and place search. A postcode or place name you search for is sent to postcodes.io, a free lookup service, to find its location. We don't keep it.
- Adverts. We don't show any yet. If that changes, this page and the banner will be updated first.
